The garage is generally regarded by historians, engineers and others – in and out of the high-tech industry – to be one of the most significant artifacts of the early days of the electronics industry remaining in Silicon Valley today.

And that is precisely the start of Bill Hewlett and Dave Packard’s company: the Addison Avenue property, birthplace of HP and the Silicon Valley.

“Garage” is the name for the concept that includes an industrial design style and warm wooden touches. It tries to recreate the atmosphere that Dave and Bill lived while they where creating big thinks, in hopes that today’s HP members will continue doing the same.
