AliExpress and Etsy are distinct platforms with their own policies, user bases, and business models. AliExpress primarily focuses on connecting buyers with manufacturers and sellers, often featuring mass-produced and inexpensive items. In contrast, Etsy has a stronger emphasis on handmade and unique products created by individual artisans and crafters.

Aiming to elevate the site and appeal to a larger customer base, the aim of this redesign is to come closer to the idea of higher quality products that is often associated with Etsy.

By simplifying the results page, and keeping a coherent color palette, we strive to achieve that. The bright orange of the logo serves as a high contrast that helps with visual cleaningness as well as modernizing the look of the site. The larger font supports this as well.
